A veteran Japanese manufacturing giant exposed a fraud scandal!
Japan's century-old well-known company, Hitachi Metals has faked for 30 years, affecting 1952 global companies including China!

According to CCTV.com, recently, Hitachi Metals, a subsidiary of Japan's Hitachi Group, released survey results showing that the company's quality inspection data has been falsified for at least 30 years, affecting 1952 global companies. It is reported that the problematic products may flow into the Chinese market.

Hitachi Metal's 30 years of fraud affects nearly 2,000 companies worldwide

According to CCTV.com, in January 2020, Hitachi Metals, a subsidiary of Hitachi, received an anonymous report of improper conduct in its factories producing special steel products. After that, the company launched a series of investigations.

Recently, Hitachi Metals released the latest report showing that about 380 types of special steel products used in aircraft engines manufactured by many factories have been tampered with inspection results, and quality inspections are not carried out in accordance with prescribed methods.

Since the 1980s, these products have flowed to about 1952 companies, equivalent to 10% of the group's total customers.

On May 8 this year, high-speed railways in England and the United Kingdom were suspended due to cracks found on the trains. The train model that found the problem was Hitachi 800. These trains were produced by Hitachi. They were used in the fall of 2017. After only three and a half years of operation, large-scale quality problems occurred.
