Recently, many countries have issued notices to strictly investigate the falsification of certificates of origin and crack down on violations of re-export trade.

Vietnam

According to a report on April 13, in order to prevent falsification of origin, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam recently issued Document No. 2515/BCT-XNK, requiring the strengthening of management of raw material suppliers and strict control of raw material quality.

South Korea

The South Korean Customs Service said on Monday that South Korea has found that more and more companies are trying to disguise foreign products as Korean export products to evade comprehensive US tariffs.

The Korea Customs Service has set up a special task force to prevent illegal exports and plans to develop more specific countermeasures to protect domestic companies.

Singapore

Singapore Customs and the Ministry of Trade and Industry issued a notice stating that in recent years, some countries have implemented unilateral export controls on advanced semiconductors, semiconductor manufacturing equipment and artificial intelligence-related technologies.

Singapore's export controls are subject to the Strategic Materials Control Act and the Import and Export Administration Regulations, which are consistent with major multilateral export control mechanisms and UN Security Council sanctions resolutions.
Singapore Customs and the Ministry of Trade and Industry also emphasized in the notice that "the Singapore government does not tolerate companies deliberately using their connections with Singapore to circumvent or violate the export controls of other countries. This applies to all our trading partners."
