Toyota and other 5 companies were found to have violated regulations during the internal investigation.

The published investigation results show that Toyota has 3 models that are still in production, and there are behaviors such as data fraud in pedestrian protection tests; 4 models that have been discontinued have violations such as processing test vehicles in vehicle collision tests. According to relevant Japanese laws, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism of Japan will conduct on-site inspections of these 5 companies as early as the 4th. The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism of Japan said that the violations of these car companies have damaged user trust and the automobile certification system.

At present, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism of Japan has required 3 Toyota cars, 2 Mazda cars and 1 Yamaha motorcycle that have violated regulations to suspend shipments.

I regret this." He also asked the relevant automakers to explain the situation to consumers seriously, and said that the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism of Japan will "seriously deal with" the matter based on the results of the investigation.

Japanese manufacturing has long been known for its high quality and reliability. However, the exposure of a series of fraud incidents in recent years has cast a shadow on this halo. These incidents not only damaged the reputation of Japan's manufacturing industry, but also raised public doubts about product quality and corporate integrity.
